Wayward Strand is an affecting emotive narrative that is that is woven from a number of different threads, all of which are played out at the same time on an air-borne hospital during the 1970s Australia.
Wayward Strand lets you take as Casey Beaumaris, an adolescent girl who visits the hospital for her first visit in a while. Through three days, she will examine the story of the ship, as well as the experiences of its residents, as well as their connections to their fellow passengers.
On board, she’ll be able go to the homes that house the ship’s bizarre and charming residents. She can choose whom she’d like to share her time with and meet them. You can shadow staff members and explore the space, or you could explore the vessel to learn about its dark past.
Residents of the hospital are an eclectic group with a wide range of personality types – certain charming, while others are less so – everyone with their own personal goals aspirations, dreams, and desires. Residents can do what they like, without regard to the character of their player.
The stay of three days Casey enjoys aboard the ship lets her observe the lives of the others on board, and Casey can then investigate. Every character acts and moves according to their personal schedule. They discuss stories, news, opinions and joking or even having a casual conversation with Casey.
